WELCOME TO CAMP TANNER!
Camp Tanner Inc. welcomes you to CAMP TANNER., located at Bill Tanner Kin Camp in Embro, Ontario. In the heart of Southern Ontario, Camp Tanner is a small camp with BIG spirit.
For six weeks, every Sunday afternoon until Friday night, each camper enjoys a jam packed week of affordable fun provided by an incredible staff team. Each week is created with a special and unique theme. Daily activities include team-building with low-ropes, crafts, games, nature sessions, sports, Christian education, swimming, themed meals, campfire, and more.
Campers at senior camps participate in their choice of coached activity or sport throughout the week while junior campers choose their own adventure from a variety of games, low ropes, high and low energy activities, and self-directed crafts.

Arrival Day At Camp
Do you have a camper coming this summer to camp? Not sure what to expect of arrival day? checkout our arrival and departures page. We also have an online packing list to help you know what to bring.
Arrival time is 3pm each Sunday and departure time is 7pm each Friday
Note: we do sell some merchandise at sign in. We have camper T-shirts for $15 a each and cook books for $16. We also take a full camp photo each week which can be ordered for $5.
Info For Parents
Please note, your child may have a counsellor of a different gender than them (ie. a boy camper with a girl counsellor). If this is the case their will be a staff of the same gender who will be sleeping in the cabin during the night and will be there during changing times. We hired staff this year based on their abilities not their gender to ensure that we have the best possible staff spending time with your campers.
Have questions you need answered? Wondering about how our camps work, how to register, questions about subsidy, concerns about medical conditions and accommodations, or questions about special dietary plans. You can also contact our coordinator team with questions. Tondue, Zambo, and Grrrruff can answer questions about what to expect, what to pack, when tours of camp are happening, what our schedules look like, last minute cabin mate requests/ changes, and any other questions related to programing this summer. Lastly, a quick note about where to call. Our camp number is 519-475-4410. This number is only to be uses Sunday-Friday from July 5 to Aug. 17. This is the only times we are actually at the camp. The remainder of the time no one is there to answer the phone. Please call our registrar at her home instead at 519-475-4833.

To register by mail please print both pages of the registration form and complete the form. Then mail it to our registrar with a cheque or money order.
In order to register online please follow the link for online registration. The link will bring you to our online form. Please complete the form in full. You will then be able to process your payment through Pay Pal and pay with your Credit Card.

Camp Tanner's big fundraiser each year is our dinner auction. 2018's dinner auction was very successful again this year. We hosted our dinner auction on Saturday Feb. 3, 2018 at the Embro arena. Thanks to all our very generous donors and businesses we had over 400 items in our auction this year! We were able to raise $12,600 this year! We are so thankful to everyone who came out and everyone who donated and volunteered their time to help make it happen.

Camp Tanner has completed yet another great year of summer camps. Our camp is run largely by volunteers and is non-profit. We rely on our fundraisers and our generous donors who make camp possible each year. We are very grateful for everything the community around us contributes each year. Camp Tanner is a registered charity by the Canada Revenue Agency. We have 6 weeks of camp which operate on a non-profit basis. We rely on donors each year to keep our camp running and to help support campers, who could not otherwise afford camp, be able to come to Camp Tanner. Camp provides an amazing experience for many staff and kids each year to grow and develop many important life skills! Thank you again to everyone for your support throughout the years!

Each summer Camp Tanner's amazing craft directors plan cool crafts for our campers to create. These crafts rely on craft supplies lots of which come from donations. If you have leftover craft supplies kicking around your home consider donating them to Camp Tanner's craft cabin this year.
