CAMP TOURS

Camp Tanner will be hosting tours for new camp families. If you are thinking about registering your camper, or already have registered, this may be for you. This is a chance to come out to the camp and see the facility. You will meet Grrrruff, our camp director, and have a chance to ask questions. This is a great way to help new campers feel less nervous about coming to camp. There is no need to register for a tour. Simply come to the camp during one of these time slots:
Wednesday July 6 from 6-7:30pm
Our address is 316667 31st Line Embro, ON. Please just wait at the main building when you arrive. A staff will meet you there to start your tour.

The registrar may have a cancellation space or may be able to suggest an alternate week for your child.

CAMP POLICIES
Please read and review the our policies with your camper before bringing them to their week of camp. Please also stay tuned to our website for updated Covid-19 policies.

Camp Tanner provides a safe and enjoyable experience for campers.
Camp Tanner is a smoke, alcohol, drug &
electronics free environment.

Respect for staff, fellow campers, property and facilities are expected.  We reserve the right to send a camper home for not conforming to these standards or disruptive behaviour. Any campers sent home for inappropriate behaviour may not be considered as a camper in the future nor entitled to any amount of refund.

It is strongly recommended that all campers remain at camp for the full camp week. If the need arises, a camper will be allowed to leave the camp one time only, the exception being family or medical emergencies. If a camper must leave, we ask the parents or guardians to please put in writing the times of the pickup and delivery back to camp and give to the program directors at registration.

OPPOSITE GENDER COUNSELLORS
In the event of a shortage in same gendered staff, your male camper may have a female counsellor (and vice versa). A same gendered staff (a lifeguard or other member of senior staff for example) will reside in the cabin with the campers, but programming will be facilitated by the opposite gendered counsellor.
